Bugando Medical Centre is a consultant and teaching hospital for the Lake and Western zones of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is situated along the shores of Lake Victoria in Mwanza City. It has 900
beds and over 1200 employees. It is a referral centre for tertiary specialist care for eight regions, namely: – Mwanza, Geita, Simiyu, Mara, Kagera, Shinyanga, Tabora and Kigoma. It serves a catchment’s population of over 14 million people. Bugando Medical Centre is therefore inviting suitably Tanzanians with POSITIVE mind set who can volunteer in the following posts;-
Medical Doctor (5-Post)
Qualifications
Holder of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or its equivalent from a recognized Institution. Must be registered by the Tanganyika Medical Council as a Medical Doctor with one year of internship.
Assistant Nursing Officer (22-Posts)
Qualifications
Holder of a Diploma in Nursing from any recognized Institution and has been registered in with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Tanzania.
Laboratory Scientist (1- Post)
Qualification
Holder of a Degree in Laboratory Science from a recognized Institution and must be registered in the register of Health Laboratory Practitioners Council as a Health Laboratory Scientist.
Laboratory Technologist (1- Post)
Qualification
Holder of a Diploma in Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution, who have been registered in the register of the Health Laboratory Practitioners as Health Laboratory Technologist.
Pharmacist (1- Post)
Qualification Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) or its equivalent from a recognized institution and must be registered by the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania as Pharmacist, with one year of internship.
Pharmaceutical Technician (1-Post)
Qualification
Holder of a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution must be enrolled in the register of Pharmacy Council of Tanzania as Pharmaceutical Technician.
Radiographer (1-Post)
Qualification
Holder of a Diploma in Radiography (X-ray) from a recognized institution must be enrolled in the register of Medical Radiology and imaging Professionals as a Radiographer.
Medical Attendant (5- Posts)
Qualification
Holder of an Ordinary/Advanced Secondary School Certificate and must have a one year certificate in the related field.
Accountant (1- Post)
Qualifications
Holder of CPA (T) with Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution.
Legal Officer II (1- Post)
Qualifications
Holder of LLB degree and has successfully accomplished school of Law.
Data Clerk (1- Post)
Qualifications
Holder of an Ordinary or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with Certificate in Computer application from University Computing Centre (UCC) or any recognized institution.
MODE OF APPLICATION
