Entrance Scholarships at the Education University of Hong Kong
These entrance awards at the Education University of Hong Kong are offered at the Undergraduate level. Each recipient will be awarded 113,000 HKD which they can use to offset their tuition fee (partially). Students applying must be studying greater China studies. Only International students are eligible to apply. They can keep getting the Scholarship in the subsequent years if they maintain a certain academic record.
Scholarships by the University of Hong Kong
The Asia Global Institute at the University of Hong Kong is awarding fellowships in the subject of Asian studies. This is a 13 week program whereby the students can attend lectures and attend conference. They will also be traveling abroad to see more of the capital cities in Asia to conduct research on Asian countries and their cultures.
The fellowship recipients will be entitled to a monthly stipend in house accommodation and coverage for traveling overseas. Students from all Nationalities can apply. However they will have to pay for the travel expenses incurred for traveling to Hong Kong. It is an interdisciplinary program that is aimed toward producing leaders in the field of public policy.
HKPF Scholarships
This is a PhD Scholarship that allows the recipients to study in any one of the listed Universities in Hong Kong. These Universities include Lingnan University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong. Each of these Universities has a different list of subject areas that are affiliated with this Scholarship.
The Scholarship recipient will be eligible for an award worth 39, 700 USD (around 309, 600 HKD). They will also be given an allowance of about 1,700 USD (around 12,900 HKD) a year which the recipients can use for traveling abroad for research purposes and attending conferences. The Scholarship is usually given for three years but an exception can be made for extending it in extenuating cases. Only International students can apply for this Scholarship program.
Scholarships by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU)
The Hong Kong Baptist University is offering scholarships at the Master/Postgraduate level to International students. These students must be studying any one of the following subject,
- Finance
- Applied Economics
- Management
- Accountancy
It is generous Scholarship that waivesa 100% tuition fee and offers a stipend of 12,800 USD annually (around 100, 000 HKD). The hefty sum also point to the fact that the Scholarship itself is pretty competitive, The main aim is to produce leaders in the field of business. Students who show potential to promote higher education in Hong Kong beyond its borders will be given preferenc.
Lingnan University Undergraduate Awards
Students from outside of China and Hong Kong are welcome to apply to this Scholarship program by Lingnan University. There are three kinds of Scholarship available within this program,
The first one offers a full tuition fee waiver, free of cost in house accommodation and a monthly stipend which can cover some portion of the recipient living expenses
The second one allows 100% tuition fee support but no other incentive
The third one offers a partial tuition fee waiver

The Hong Kong Management Association Awards
The Hong Kong Management Association is offering Scholarships to pursue diploma courses in Hong Kong. These diploma courses can be of basic Intermediate, advanced or professional level.
