UDSM Admissions Online 2022/2023 Application Form – Apply Now The University of Dar es Salaam (UD) is one of Tanzania’s oldest institutions of higher learning. Established in 1936, the university has a rich history and a reputation as one of the best universities in Tanzania.Today, UD continues to expand its presence around the world by focusing on distance education and global collaboration. The university offers undergraduate and graduate degrees through four schools and colleges.
The school of Education studies both general education and applied subjects related to teaching and learning at all levels. The School of Management focuses on business education for professionals interested in working with students or an organization that teaches students.
The School of Social Sciences studies public administration, international relations, cultural anthropology, human geography, African studies, etc. These four schools are further divided into around 100 departments each with their own course offerings and faculty members.

UDSM Admissions 2022/2023
The University of Dar es salaam (UDSM) offers various academic programmes leading to the award of certificates, diplomas, and degrees. Applications for admission are invited from qualified candidates wishing to pursue various undergraduate degree programmes for the academic year 2018/2019.
All requisite information and guidelines to take the applicant through the application stages are provided from the Instructions tab. Applicants are reminded to register their names as they appear in their O & A level certificates; likewise their index numbers where prompted.
All Direct applicants with Foreign Certificates should first present their certificates to the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for verification.
They will in turn be given letters showing NECTA equivalent grades, copies of which should also be uploaded together with other certifcates. Further information on NECTA verification can be obtained from www.necta.go.tz.

The Academic Registration Information System (ARIS) holds all the information relating to students and their studies at the University of Dar es Salaam.
